Taylor
Taylor Swift is that rarest of pop phenomenons A superstar who managed to completely cross over from the country music scene to making her an iconic pop culture icon and conquering all over the world at the same time. Swift removed the influences of country in the sense that they had been added as an extra layer of skin and revealed she was among the best singers/songwriters of her time. Swift could make the occasion personal, or use it to her advantage. Swift's early songs, including the neo song in tribute to Tim McGraw, showed off her talents. However, her album Fearless revealed a songwriter who was re-discovering herself and finding a large audience. Fearless was successful not only in the United States, having six platinum-certified songs. Its Top Ten songs Love Story and the hit song You Belong with Me were the main reasons for this. It also performed exceptionally well throughout the world. Swift was able to consolidate her success through Speak Now almost two year later. With the three albums that followed (Reputation 2017, 1989 2014, and Red 2012) Red 2012, 1989 2014 and Reputation 2017. her popularity only increased. That was an obvious indicator that Swift had entered the new music scene that she could be part of. In the end, when she refocused her music with the stripped-down releases of 2020, Folklore, and Evermore, she still remained in the top spot. The position was defended through re-recordings of her previous catalogue as well as Midnights, her synth-heavy chart-topping 2022 album.
