Sheryl Underwood is a American television host, comedian and actress famous for hosting the daytime talk show The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and grew up at Little Rock, Atwater and Atwater. Sheryl is part of a clan who has suffered from a range of problems. Sheryl was a part of her youth helping her younger sister Frankie with polio. When she was a child, she had difficulties between her parents. Sheryl claims that in one instance her mother stabbed her father because he was getting too close to her. Sheryl was a soldier after she graduated from university. The area of interest she was most interested in was comedy. She was the sole female who made it to the 1989 competition Miller Lite Comedy Search. Her TV profession began in the year 1992 with her appearance on the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000 she hosted the show Oh Drama! Then in 2011, she started appearing on The Talk as co-host. Also, she's played fictional characters in programs like Bulworth Nikki, Bulworth or Beauty Shop.
