Harry

Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is a British music producer and a vocalist. Harry Styles was one of the original members of One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on the 1st of February 1994. He's also the child of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, where together with three students, he formed the group he was a part of, White Eskimo. They were the winners of the Battle of Bands in 2009 because of their exceptional performance. He has always been interested in music, despite his passion, he was contemplating becoming a lawyer or physiotherapist. In the past, he was employed for a short time in a baker's shop in his city and hoped to assist to support his family financially. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition during which he performed the Stevie Wonder's hit song Is not She Lovely. Because of that, his band were forced to split. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury member of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles join a band called One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. The group were singing songs like My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group were among the hopefuls to win the competition. However they were 3rd place, behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group and Cowell failed to take home the event. Then Cowell granted Harry Styles a 2 million dollar contract with Syco.
