Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny, born February 3, 1950) is an American actress. She became famous during the 1970s and 1980s due to her role as an actress on television series. The glamorous look of her was the most prominent feature on these shows. Fairchild began her career in her role on the CBS Daytime soap drama Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace from 1973 to 1977. She was Jenna Wade in 1978, the first time a woman was able to do such a role. The following year, she was the lead role in Flamingo Road (NBC), in which she was awarded a Golden Globe Award nomination for the top Actress - Television Series Drama. The show was a short-lived ABC show, a primetime comedy Paper Dolls. Later in 1985-1986, she played the attorney Jordan Roberts as part of Falcon Crest. Fairchild is also an actor on stage and has appeared in a variety of TV comedy shows, including Murphy Brown, for which she won a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Star in Comedy Series. Maggie Lawson's professional career started at the age of eight, when she started to was a part of theater productions.
