Dolly Parton escaped the struggles in her early life through her imaginative and creative imagination. Even before learning to write or read and compose herself songs. In 8 years, she was playing her first guitar. When she was 11 years old, she began to sing at the Knoxville Tennessee radio station. The same year, she released her debut album on Gold Band Records an independent small label. Her name was made for herself locally while still at high school, but wanted to perform on a larger stage. On the 14th of March, 1964, that followed her graduation from high school the singer moved to Nashville. The first charting record she had with Monument Records included Dumb Blonde and Something Fishy both in 1967. Porter Wagoner, a syndicated TV show host at the time was searching for a singer for his show. Parton got her first gig in the year 1967, signed with RCA Records by 1968, and became a member of the Grand Ole Opry. But she resigned from the show in 1974, as her own releases such as Joshua Coat of Many Colors and Jolene were charting collaborations with them. Parton's hit song, I'll Never Love You (for Wagoner), was able to reach the number. 1 spot after they broke up. 1. for the first time in 1974.
