Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, was raised in Wellington) is a Canadian actress. Paquin is a native of New Zealand, born in Wellington however was born and bred in Winnipeg made her acting d but in The Piano. At age 11, she became an infant Academy Award winner ever for Best Actress. When she responded to a request to auditions open at age nine and having no acting experience before that the actress was chosen for Flora McGrath's role.
